In collaboration with Steven Mercurio, our project Broadway Lights brings the dazzling lights of Broadway and an influx of its most popular melodies to the stage. This performance will mark the second time it has been played during the three decades of the CNSO's activity on the Czech and international scene.

The previous concert was conducted by Carl Davis, who passed away in August 2023. We want to dedicate this concert to him and remind everyone of his genius and the genius of the numerous beloved musicals.

Our conductor Steven Mercurio, who lives in New York, is a frequent guest on the Broadway stage and in the Philadelphia Opera. The soloists for this concert are from America's unique Jeremy Winston Chorale. And supporting them is none other than American tenor Richard Troxell, who recorded his 2015 album Classic Broadway in collaboration with the Czech National Symphony Orchestra and Steven Mercurio.
