The Prague Philharmonic Orchestra was founded in 1990 as primarily a studio ensemble, which annually produces around 100 recordings: film music for producers from all over the world, but also classical music recordings for publishers such as Decca, EMI, Sony BMG, or music for commercials.
Such stars as Jonas Kaufmann and Sol Gabetta collaborated with the orchestra.
Under the direction of Friedemann Riehle, the orchestra regularly presents a New Year’s Eve concert.
